This indicates that there is either a build up of precipitate in the system or that air bubbles are in the sample lines.

1. Perform a maintenance wash script to remove precipitate build up from the cuvette and to remove air bubbles from the system.

2. Confirm that the acquired sample volume is at least 25ml less than the volume in the well

3. Sample probe height is adjusted correctly. See Technote #40
