STarStation Excel Add-Ins are compiled using Excel 2000 (Office 9). The earliest version of Excel with which ACS Add-Ins will work is Excel 2000. The Add-Ins are also compatible with Excel Versions 2002 (Office 10) and Excel 2003 (Office 11).
The Excel Add-In which is copied to the STarStation2.3\Excel Plugins folder (default location C:\Program Files\Applied Cytometry Systems\STarStation 2.3\Excel Plugin) by the STarStation 2.3 installation process was incorrectly compiled using Excel 2003.
When the STarStation 2.3 Excel Add-In is configured in the Excel Add-Ins Manager and run, one of the following Visual Basic errors is displayed
This is because a reference for the Excel 2003 (Excel version 11.0) cannot be located when the user is running an earlier version of Excel. To allow the STarStation 2.3 Excel Add-In to function with earlier versions of Excel (Excel 2000 or Excel 2002) users should download an updated version of the Add-In, see below.
The following references are required for full functionality of the STarStation 2.3 Excel Add-In (STarStationImport2.3.xla) and the STarStation 2.0 Data Import Add-In (STarStationImport.xla).

To correct the problem discussed above:
1) Download the relevant Excel Add-In from the table above.
2) Copy the .xla file onto your PC so that the existing Add-In file (STarStationImport.xla or STarStationImport2_3.xla) is overwritten.
