Cloud Based Licensing
Applied Cytometry’s ACULA single sign on licensing option enables you to access all our products from one account.
With ACULA, licensing has never been more flexible. You can access your AC products anytime, anywhere and on any device.
ACULA gives you more control over licensing than ever before allowing you to manage billing and users remotely with ease.

Desktop Based Licensing
DESkey:
A physical dongle which can be plugged in to your chosen device- no internet access needed.
Secure permanent licensing with a one-time payment. Receive software updates for no extra charge.
Ideal for lab environments dealing with sensitive patient data.
License Key:
Linked to a specific device. Requires you to generate and email a license request file before we can provide the license key.
Faster alternative to the DESkey as you don’t need to wait for it to be shipped.
We offer deals on the purchase of multiple user licenses. We also offer discount to students/academics.
Licensing Q&A
Free trials are automatically limited to one per device. However, if you are wishing to claim a free trial on a device that has already been used by a colleague for example, please get in contact.
Cloud based licensing options will be available for all our products within the next year.

How to license your Applied Cytometry products
Before you can begin using any of your Applied Cytometry products they must first be licensed. This also includes free trial versions of the software.
Currently, we do not offer ACULA, our cloud based licensing option for CytoBee, but we hope to introduce this within the next few months.
ACULA
Our most popular licensing option
We recommend using our cloud licensing option ACULA as it is faster to get started.
To register with ACULA this launch the VenturiOne application, and you will see this popup.

Select the “Register” button and another popup will appear.

Under Preferred enter your desired username. Then enter your email followed by your chosen password under.
Ensure your chosen password adheres to the guidelines outlined.
Be sure to fill in all the registration fields before selecting the register button.
A verification code will then be sent to your chosen email address.
Do not close the VenturiOne popup before you have entered your verification code or you will have to repeat the entire process.
If you cannot see the email in your inbox be sure to double check your Junk folder.
Copy and paste the verification code into the box and then select the verify button.
A popup will appear to confirm that your trial is now verified.
License Key
Alternatively, you can request that we generate a license key for you. To do this switch to the ‘Software License’ tab.

Enter your email address in the box and then select the Save License Request File button.
This will then generate a license request file that you save to your PC.
You must then email the license request file to [email protected]
We will then generate and email a license key to you which you must save to your PC, before uploading into the Wizard by select the ‘From File…’ button.
Once you have uploaded the license key to the wizard, select the validate license button.
A popup will appear to confirm that your software is now verified.

Launch CytoSwarm and the popup above will appear. If you are already registered with ACULA you can login with your existing credentials to license CytoSwarm.
If you do not already have an ACULA license, select the ‘Register’ button.

Under Preferred enter your username. Be sure to fill in all the registration fields before selecting the ‘Register’ button.
You will then return to the CytoSwarm Login popup. Select the ‘Verify’ button.

A verification code will then be sent to your email address. We recommend you do not close the popup before entering the verification code or you will have to repeat the process.
If you cannot see the email in your inbox be sure to double check your Junk folder.
Enter the email address you used to register then copy and paste your verification code into the box and select the ‘OK’ button. A popup will appear to confirm that your trial is now verified.

To license CytoBee you must first generate a license request file.
Select the Request License button this will launch the request license wizard.
You must enter your email, select next and then choose the file destination of where you want to save the license request file to.
You must then email the license request file to [email protected] and we will generate and email a license key to you.
